Guard. Houston, Texas. Health Science graduate. Everything below is sourced, and where sources disagree that is said rather than smoothed over.
Marquis Jordan McGilbra is a guard from Houston, Texas. He came through Summer Creek High School in Houston and went on to Sam Houston State University, where he graduated in December 2025 with a degree in Health Science. He played on the university’s club team in 2023 and, in his own account of it, led the side in stats across the handful of games they were able to play.
He played professionally overseas before that. In the Voyage Houston interview he names the place as “La Coura, Portugal”, says he led his team in every statistical category, was ranked inside the league’s top ten and took the team to a championship. No league record, club name or box score for that spell could be found in any public database, and A Coruña is in Spain rather than Portugal, so the location is left exactly as he stated it and is not resolved here.
In early 2026 he played nine games for Sun Devilz in the Warriors Thailand League, between 11 January and 15 February. That spell is fully recorded: 19.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 32.9 minutes a game, on 51.7% from two, 33.3% from three and 77.3% from the line. Since then he has been posting openly that he is available — “actively seeking my next professional opportunity, willing to play wherever the opportunity is.”
Alongside the basketball he makes content full-time: day-in-the-life vlogs, game film, training footage and travel. His Collabstr listing describes him as an athlete and biomedical science graduate with an interest in gene editing, athletic performance and human optimisation — and that thread does run through the channel, alongside the hoops.

I’ve always been underdog, always been a person [who] has been three steps behind, but through all the trials and tribulations I’ve always found a way to push myself to be the best that I could be.
